Chris has been writing for many years. He has written poetry, short films and plays. His writing is a gritty and realistic insight into life on the streets of south London. His first short film 'Return of the Mac' was shot in London in 2004 by Loanwoolfe Productions starring Edward de Souza. He has also written and devised plays for National Youth Theatre and The Minka Theatre Company. He is currently represented as a consultant/writer by The Screen Talent Agency.
Chris' first book is currently available. 'Letters to a young person' is an inspirational look at some of the difficult issues young people face. The book aims to help young people address the anger and frustrations that can lead them to crime in the future. With a history within the criminal justice system Chris is uniquely placed to use his experiences to inspire and advise. Chris also runs workshops in a variety of venues based on the issues addressed in the book. Strawberry Letters, Chris' first feature film, is now being adapted for screen with the assistance of BAFTA award-winning screen-writer, Hugh Stoddart and they are in talks with various companies about it's imminent production.
